Tennessee Valley Fair Exhibitors Shine at Tennessee State Fair Crowned Winners
Knoxville, TN (August 25, 2025) – Tennessee State Fair and its “Best of Tennessee” competitions have once again recognized outstanding submissions from the Tennessee Valley Fair, as our exhibitors brought home multiple ribbons this year.
Each year, fairs across the state compete in specific classes of competitions set by the State Fair. This year, our participants represented East Tennessee with distinction, showcasing talent, dedication and a commitment to excellence across multiple competitions.
Our winners included:
1st Place – Basketry (Adult) less than 12”: Lillie Martin
1st Place – Holiday Item (Adult) Wreath: Conya Mull
2nd Place – Photography (Amateur Youth) Color Photo: Maxwell Moersch
3rd Place – Quilts: Samantha Barton
3rd Place – Stained Glass (Adult, 12”+): Jerry Ridenour
3rd Place – Photography (Amateur Adult) Ag Down on the Farm: Jenny Herchenrider
“The accomplishments achieved by our exhibitors at the State Fair reflect the hard work and pride our community brings to the table,” said Scott Suchomski, Executive Director of the Tennessee Valley Fair. “These results show that East Tennessee can stand with the very best across the state."
