Knoxville, Tenn. (January 28, 2019) – Scott Suchomski, Executive Director of the Tennessee Valley Fair, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE). As one of 18 board members, Suchomski serves as the IAFE’s Zone 6 Director covering the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. In addition, Suchomski became an IAFE Certified Fair Executive in 2012 and graduated from IAFE’s Institute of Fair Management in 2017. The IAFE is a voluntary, not-for-profit corporation, serving state, provincial, regional, and county agricultural fairs, shows, exhibitions, and expositions.
