KNOXVILLE, TENN. (August 6, 2021) - Want to see the world's biggest grill? Look no further than the Tennessee Valley Fair! Delicious Johnsonville Sausages will be sold Friday, September 10 to Sunday, September 12. All proceeds benefit Knoxville Area's Salvation Army.
About the Grill:
Weighing more than 53,000 pounds and measuring 65 feet long, the semi-turned-grill can cook hundreds of brats at a time and up to 2,000 per hour.
Providing more than just tasty tailgate sausages at special events and retail locations across the country, the Big Taste Grill also raises money for local charities. At each event, the Big Taste Grill partners with a non-profit organization to raise money for their cause through product sales.
To date, the Big Taste Grill program has raised more than $4 million for a variety of charities nationwide, many of them local community organizations. In 2019 alone, the Johnsonville Big Taste Grill raised more than $110,306 for 34 different organizations nationwide.
