Schedule Information
Location: Kerr Building
Drop-off: Tuesday, September 8 - 5:30-8:00pm or Wednesday, September 9 - 10:00am-6:30pm
Judging: Thursday, September 10 (Closed to the public)
Pick-up: Monday, September 21 - 10:00am-4:30pm

1. LEGO® Build contest requires a $5.00 fee per entry which should be sent in with the entry form or paid online.
2. Only LEGO® or DUPLO® blocks may be used. Your build must consist of LEGO®s only. No Megablocks, tinker toys, boxes, paper, etc. No painting, gluing, or taping LEGO® bricks. You will be disqualified.
3. Entries must be your own creation, not a LEGO® designed kit, project found online, in a magazine, etc. Exhibitors not following rules will be disqualified.
4. Two entries per participant or team will be allowed.
5. Exhibitors competing in the Family/Team build will be competing for a single prize.
6. Include a card that describes your inspiration/idea and any unique elements you want to point out/highlight for the judge to notice. Do not include name.
7. Please attach contact name and phone number on the bottom or back of your creation.
8. Lots with less than 5 entries, only 1st place will be awarded. Lots with less than 10 entries, only 1st and 2nd place will be awarded. Lots with more than 10 entries will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places
9. Build may not be removed before 9:00pm Sunday, September 20. NO EXCEPTIONS!

NEW: Class 6 - Celebrate America
America turns 250 years old this year! To celebrate we are inviting students of all ages to design and build an original LEGO creation that represents the story of the United States. Your build can show:
  • A famous American Landmark
  • A historic event
  • A cultural moment
1. Build must be original (no full pre-made LEGO sets).
2. You may use any LEGO bricks you already own.
3. You must include a short, written description (3-5 sentences) explaining:
  • What you build
  • Why it represents America
  • What story you are telling
This is your chance to tell America's story - BRICK BY BRICK!
Lot 01 - Celebrate America

LEGO® Extravaganza
Saturday, September 19 at the Kerr Building. On-site registration only!

Group Build: Registration: 11:30am-12:30pm
Building Begins: 1:00pm
Judging: 2:00pm

Prizes awarded to top 3 teams! The Tennessee Valley Fair will provide the LEGO®s, all you need to bring is your A-Game!

1. Contestants must pre-register day of event. Space is limited. Spots are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
2. Teams will have one hour to complete their masterpieces.
3. All ages and skill levels welcomed.
4. Winners will be announced immediately after judging.
5. All models are considered property of the Tennessee Valley Fair after competition.
6. Each contestant must break down their model after the competition.
7. No pictures, plans, images, or instructions may be used during the event.

Important things to remember:
  • Use a color scheme to enhance your build!
  • Pay close attention to details! Especially when creating a scene!
  • Make sure your creation is durable!
  • Be original
