What's New in 2023!

Ag Alley - "Learn About Ag"

Livestock Barns | Dates and Times Here
Take a stroll through Ag Alley to learn more about agriculture. This interactive exhibit will include live demos of sheep shearing, trying your hand at milking a simulated dairy cow, planting seeds, visiting with real cows, and more! Don’t forget to also visit “Snap, Crackle, and Crop” - the Tennessee Valley Fair’s greenhouse. While there, learn about soil conservation, how to properly clean water for crops and animals, best methods on planting, and more.

Fair Feud

Pepsi Tent | Friday, Sept. 15 | 7pm
Compete with your family (team) in Fair Feud! Contestants will be picked by a random drawing at the Pepsi Tent on September 15 at the start of the show at 7pm.

Deadline for entries will be Thursday, September 14, at 8pm. Only one entry per family.

A family does not have to be related to be considered a team. Example: five
friends can participate as a "family".

Fair-ly Big Tailgate presented by Visit Knoxville

Beer Garden at Overlook/Jacob Tent | Saturday, Sept. 16 | 6:30pm
Stop by the Fair-ly Big Tailgate presented by Visit Knoxville to watch the University of Tennessee versus the University of Florida football game. The big game will be screened in a dedicated tailgate area for attendees. Yard games will be available to enjoy in tailgate area. Attendees will also get a special meet-and-greet with Jasper the Rooster and Fairest of the Fair.

Giant Cornhole

Your favorite yard game, just a little bit bigger... And by a little, we mean 10 foot cornhole boards and big bean bags! Let’s get to tossin’ bags!

The G.O.A.T. Silent Disco

Pepsi Tent | Wednesday, Sept. 13 | 7pm
Join us for the G.O.A.T. of all silent discos! We are taking the meaning of “G.O.A.T.” to the next level: dancing with actual goats! Born and Raised Productions will be spinning tunes for everyone to boogie with the goats from Little Ponderosa Zoo! Enjoy special cocktails as well. Proceeds will benefit the Tennessee Valley Fair Foundation.

Tickets to G.O.A.T. Silent Disco cost $20 and includes Fair Admission. Purchase ticket here under Special Events.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Jacob Building | Monday, Sept. 11 and Friday, Sept. 15 | 5-7pm
Pumpkin lovers rejoice! Join all creatives young to senior to take part in the Pumpkin Decorating Contest. The top pumpkin artists will receive fabulous prizes.

Robocars

Kiddie Land | Daily Shows and Strolling
Calling all car lovers! Don’t miss out on seeing this year’s newest strolling act:
RoboCars! Two featured models on-site will be a white Chevrolet Silverado and an Orange Land Rover.

Smokey Mtn Woodworks - Chainsaw artist

West of Kerr Building | Saturday, Sept. 9 and Sunday, Sept. 10
Local chainsaw artist Russell Cotter will be showing his exquisite skills of chainsaw artistry. Watch as wood is transformed into our beloved Jasper the Rooster!

Tea Party

Pepsi Tent | Saturday, Sept. 16 | 2pm
Enjoy a little afternoon tea at the Tennessee Valley Fair, hosted by the Fairest of the Fair! Activities will include making a fairy terrarium, story time by Fairest of the Fair, sipping tea, and eating cookies.

Wheels of Agriculture

Kiddie Land | Daily Shows and Strolling
Wheels of Agriculture is an audience interactive, trivia-based game show! Players will answer questions about agriculture, animals, plants, food groups, farms and barnyards, music, and other sounds!

Joe Cazana Promotions presents Wide World of Wrestling! Wrestling greats will be in the ring including Kenzie Page - NWA Women’s World TV Champ, Kamille - NWA World Women’s Champ, NWA Hall of Famer Ricky Morton, and more! This event is free with Fair Admission.
