The 93rd annual Tennessee Valley Fair offers numerous special events throughout our 10 day event: September 7-16. With so much to see and so much to do, there's something here for you!

Opening Day

In celebration of our 93rd year, Fairgoers can enter the Fairgrounds on Friday, September 7 for only $1! Discount begins at 3:00 p.m. and ends promptly at 4:33 p.m.*

Celebrate Football time in Tennessee with your friends at the Tennessee Valley Fair! Enjoy all the fair festivities and then watch the game on our big screen in the Jacob's Building.

Paint the Fair Pink Day

Unite to increase breast cancer awareness! In partnership with the Knoxville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the Fair is proud to present several exciting events on Pink Day: Bedazzle Your Bra Contest, Caps for the Cure and more!

Tennessee Valley Fair Student Day

It's great to be a kid at the Fair! On September 9 only, Students age 12 years+ receive $2 off adult admission. Students age 6-11 years receive $1 off child admission.

Fox 43 Student Day

It's great to be a kid at the Fair! On September 12, we show our appreciation for our young Fair fans by offering free admission to students 18 years and younger! All students 12th grade and under receive FREE admission from 10:00 a.m. until 6 p.m.*

Mercy Health Partners Senior Day
Tuesday, September 11, 2012
Seniors age 65+ receive FREE admission all day. Activities include: live bluegrass music, "Seniors have Talent" competition, interactive games, free health screenings, info booths and much more. Held in the Pepsi Community Tent. Call 215-1470 for a free brochure.

Praise 96.3 FM Gospel Night

Enjoy live gospel music from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Pepsi Tent. 2012 artist line-up TBA. Concerts are free with paid fair admission.

Penny Performance Program

The Fair offers free admission to all Knox County students participating in the Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville's Penny 4 Arts program.*

Down on the Farm at the Fair

Designed especially for children ages Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade, this free educational event offers 8 interactive stations.  During each tour, students will learn about farming, crops, cows, rabbits, poultry, sheep, insects and more.  Tours are available at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m.  To sign-up, contact Tammy Bounds.

Jasper's Mascot Party

Jasper the Rooster, the Fair's mascot, is throwing a party with this mascot friends in the Jacob's Building at 7:00 p.m. Be apart of the biggest Mascot parade and dance-off in Knoxville!

Mayberry Day

Join Tennessee's own Barney Fife (Sammy Sawyer) and his friends for all the festivities! Enter the whistling contest, Opie look-a-like contest, pie eating contest and test your knowledge at our Mayberry Trivia Game. The fun begins at the Pepsi Tent at 4:30 p.m.

Scout Day

$3 admission for all Girl & Boy Scouts. One adult/chaperon admission price is discounted to $3 with purchase of two Scouts tickets. Come enjoy activities just for Scouts and earn a special Patch.*

Hometown Heroes Day

Join us as we celebrate East Tennessee's Heroes: current and past military, policeman, deputy sheriffs, firefighters, first responders & current teachers. Heroes receive discounted admission all day.

La Fiesta Latina

The tenth annual La Fiesta Latina will bring fun and exciting for everyone!  Activities include: cultural events, live music and dancing.  It all begins at 2 PM in the Pepsi Community Tent.  La Fiesta Latina has been a fair staple for nearly a decade and continues to grow each year, with over 3,500 in attendance in 2011.  The purpose of this event is to celebrate Hispanic culture and recognize its contributions to the Knoxville community.
